Hello everyone,

I have an 87' IROC-Z, 383 Stroker, approx 475hp, approx 510 lbs/torque. I chose a Ford 9", Track-Loc posi, moser 3.89 gears for the rear.. Tremec TKO-600 for the tranny.

I'm unsure how to determine what size tire I "should" use, in relation to my gears, etc.. I am keeping the stock 16" wheels. I know there is "Wheel Technical Information" that I can print off of here, but that's not what I need

Can anyone help me out with understanding which factors can go into choosing the tire size for the best overall performance??
