Good day gentlemen, the question is at hand i have as seen in my picture album. The black honeycomb Rims, will the rim mount up a 1998 camaro z28 (my mothers car) lol. She really likes the way they look and her rims are leaking.I know this is probably a most frequently asked question. But im at work and dont have the time to scroll down and view past threads. If anyone knows or has tried it i would greatly appreciate it. I think the rims would look outstanding on a 4th gen. lol

Thank you very much, it says its the same we shall find out. If they do fit in the near future you will see a 4th gen with 3rd gen wheels.Its not a downgrade in my eyes, As soon as the car is out of storage for the winter i shall give it a try. lol

The rims will fit. I just bought a set of GTA rims fr a friend of mine who bought a 99 T/A with them on it. It seemed like the spacing wasn't right with these rims on that car, they really set out from the side of the car and there were no spacers. Idk about the formula rims, but IMO the GTA rims on a 4th gen looked terrible.

 

I know what your talking about.lol They stick out too much past the wheel wells. Yea if it doesnt work no big deal. American Racing rims arent that expensie and would look just as good on a 4th gen. I was just looking to make her happy. lol

To me that looks cool but by honeycomb i mean the black honeycomb wheels that were on the formulas and trans am gtas if u were in the mood to do a silver z28 with the black honeycomb with the chrome lip like mine they look identical to the gnx wheels lol if you could match that to that i would be very appreciative. But if you edited that. It looks very good, im impressed. lol

black crosslace wheels, and yes 3rd gen wheels fit 4th gens, just like seats, pretty sure 2nd gen applies to both of these too

When i went to the website that was posted about the lug pattern. It said it was exactly the same. So there is no beating the specs, I am very happy to hear this. beaucse the new american racing rims if not taken care of will pit and corrode faster then anything. My dad said he has never been so dissapointed with rims before, hes replaced 2 sets of rims for his daily drivers. Thank you for the information though, Its good to see people are willing to help others out. I will take a pic of what it looks like after i get the rims on it. I know this is a third gen forum, but im sure you dont mind seeing a 4th gen. lol
