Pretty Rare to see, C3 wheels on Iroc.
Has anyone used the 1981ish sytle C3 wheels on a 3rd gen? any fitment issues? I would like to go back to 15's.... and ive got a set of these wheels at my parents place about 1,000 miles away.......... ive searched and searched... i love these wheels and i think they'd look good on the third gens... Anyone?

Those are 15x8 with only 4 inches of backspacing, so they'll stick out, and using them up front with wide tires or 1LE brakes, or both, means they'll rub the wheelwells when turning. I don't understand choosing looks and especially nostalgia over function and results, but if you prefer cruising over performance then go right ahead. There are fewer 60R15 tires available every week, and the remaining choices are now half again the cost of 17 inch tires. So I'd sell those C3 wheels to someone who actually has a C3.

Is that so. Well I'm Definitely all about Functionality and Reliability, However I have a set of these wheels and was curious if they had a Correct Fit. Not sure why everyone is right on the edge lately. geez My Problem is, the 91 Rs i have has 16's Iroc wheels on it, and they rub while turning. and i work at a Firestone, and i can get a Set of 15's Fire hawks for 170 bucks cheaper... And these Corvette wheels ive got, are Great, not rash or oxidation...... and Im heading to my parents on Vacation in a few weeks. and was curious if i should grab those wheels.... But thanks for your time. sounds like a bad combo.

You need to either swap lower control arms for iroc ones or drill out and bolt on the iroc specific steering stops. That will cure your rubbing.
