will these fit???

I just got a screaming deal on some 18" bmw parallel m rims with good tires. But I've searched all over the site and I can't seem to find my answer. Will the tires fit. All 245/45/18 I know speedo will be off a little but not a big deal to me. Its same for all 4 tires and lowering 1" with eibach pro kit. Will all of this fit and possible size for spacers? Has a pbr rear end stock rs 305 front.

Re: will these fit???

Your going to need wheel adapters. They have a different lug pattern. BMW has a 5x120 and the third gens have a 5x4.75.

Re: will these fit???

That means your conical lug nuts won't be centered in the hole so it really is not as safe. The won't be as much holding power on that lug but. Its better to use the correct lug pattern

Re: will these fit???

I understand that plenty of horror stories on it but a lot of ppl seem to run the bmw 5x120 with no issues

Re: will these fit???

without providing offsets or widths of wheels your guess is a good as ours. if you dont have the specs why dont you just put them on and try them, you already bought them? i would never buy rims without knowing if they would fit...

as far as the speedo is concerned, at 60mph you will be actually doing ~63mph

Re: will these fit???

Rims are 8/8.5 width offset not sure. I already planned on making corrections with spacers so wasn't too worried cause I need spacers regardless because of the front.

Re: will these fit???

How do I figure out offset. And make the measurement for what spacer I would need?

Re: will these fit???

If you need spacers anyways then why don't you just get the adapters and do it the right way?

Re: will these fit???

Cause every time I look up 5x4.75 or 5x4 3/4 to 5x120 there is nothing. I would have to find somewhere that would make them.

Re: will these fit???

Actually just found them 5x4.75 to 5x120. Ok ill measure offset but will a 245/45/18 fit up front with no rubbing or do I need a different size? I can't just fit it cause I need the spacer. If anyone is running that size your input would be very appreciated.

Re: will these fit???

The offset will fit the car wi th no spacers. You could use a slip on 10mm spacer if you want but that will require longer wheel studs.

People use the 5x120 pattern on these cars all the time. Its totally incorrect but common practice. The argument as to wether its safe or not will go on forever.

Feisty if you get hubcentric rings for the wheels to adapters from the 72.6 center terribly bore to 70.3 you can but wobble nuts which will center properly on th e studs. They are a more proper way to fit these wheels short of redrilling the lug holes. I have a thread on r edrilling wheels here on the boards
