I'm not sure if they will clear your brakes. Even if they do, one of the best upgrades I did to my car was upgrade the brakes. I'd recommend not going with 14 inch rims as you should upgrade your brakes in the future

Yes, 14" rims will work for 1985 with stock disc front and drum rear brakes. Standard tire size is 205/70R14. I don't think you'll like the look and the car won't handle quite as well.

14" was for 1982 to 1982 cars, mostly base models - why would you go down to them when your car had 15" or larger from the factory?

you can find deals on allot of 14 in rims, lower riders n customs like them as you can buy the really pricy run flat tires cheap. They got that yellow strip along or next to the white wall strip, so they can run from cops n not get a flat.

I had 14s. I hated them. Unless you live in Cali with all smooth roads, you're going to scrape a lot of stuff. I couldn't touch the pedal without spinning the tires, cops don't like that lol.
