I have the opportunity to buy a nice set of GTA wheels but I'm not really sure how they would look on my 84' bird. Color of car doesn't really matter or anything just want to see the wheels on a earlier firebird because the GTA has a little different look to it. Thanks
Rear GTA rims are special offset. You can use GTA rims on your 84 bird if you can find 4 front ones.

No spacer is needed the offset is all on the lip of the wheels fronts and rears the fronts have a slightly more offset than rears bigger. 1 inch spacers on the rear will give it a more even stance but I have non on mine yet
So I shouldn't have any rubbing issues in the front or rear? I see how your rears are a little deeper in the rear compared to the front. Maybe its just the picture

it will be good go get them you will be happy.. oh and my car is lowered 1.5 inches that helps the look out a little
Whats the difference between the early and late cars? Is there a different axle length or something to not want to use the rear wheels? I thought the cars were the same as fas as that goes. Also is there an easy way to tell the front from the rear?

petrol... the fronts say front on the castings and the lip in front of the lace is about an inch larger
Got it, Thank you

That does look bad ***. My only problem is my car doesnt have the extra lip around the bottom. I ended up going with some z28 wheels that I'm happy with. I think the gta wheels only look good with the extra lip or a lower carOriginally Posted by TRANSAM82-92
I put them on a 84 TA convertible BLK/GLD with GLD GTA rims...looked bad ***
