ON THE FENCE WITH THE LOOK OF MY NEW WHEELS
So it's been a year already since I got a set of black ZR1 wheels from a member here with the intention of putting them on the IROC. Finally last week decided on just running street tires on the back (as opposed to drag radials). The rears are the 17x11. Tried at first to use the 1 3/4 inch spacers and wasn't comfortable with the inside clearance. So used the 2 inch spacers. Love the fat tire look, but they stick out about a quarter inch. It's kinda old school looking and not real noticeable, just not real sure if I like it. I'll take pics tomorrow to get opinions on. Thinking about taking the spacers to a machine shop and having an eighth taken off. Thoughts?

Attack the inner wheel well with a 5lb hammer and use the 1.75 spacer?

I also have the 17x11 ZR1s on my car. I tried the 2" adapters first before switching to the 1.75". It looks much better with the 1.75" and doesn't require very much hammering.

Like i said it doesn't require much hammering to run the 1.75"s. There are 3 spots that need a little massaging and they are not noticeable.
