How to remove paint from my Iroc Z center caps without damaging them?
Previous owner spray painted over the center caps and I want to reveal them is there any tricks to getting the paint off without damaging the caps?

I've had luck with acetone (like you buy at a paint shop not finger nail polish remover) it will soften the paint and then you can get it loose with a pressure washer. Thought its likely to cause damage, its a last resort solution. It may be easier to get some plastic trim paint and just paint them, or buy some new ones since that is an option now.

I'd try a plastic scraper, the paint might not be sticking that well to the plastic. But anything that would remove paint would probably damage the plastic.
