215/65/15 and 255/60/15 anyone recommend?
215/65/15 and 255/60/15 anyone recommend?
Really confused on tires. I have 15x7 and 15x8, about to buy tires. Currently have 235/60 all around, don’t ask..kind of low budget piece together. I want a larger tire in rear like 255/60 or 245/60. But the front is what bothering me. Many say 235/60 but that’s so close to my goal of a larger rear it won’t be noticeable. Will 215/65 be odd looking? I like the somewhat drag look, but. Any advice before I buy.

215/65r15 is a stock size. paired with a 245/60, it would give it a drag look. I have 235/60's on the front of my Z28 and 245/60's on the rear and yes, they are real close to being the same size. the rears look bigger because I have a spacer on the drums and that lets the tire stick out just enough.

Here it is with 235/60/15 on all fours. Even though fronts 15x7. Back 15x8. Maybe my front springs have sagged but the front is low. I’m concerned that 215/65/15 (stock size) would make the front even lower. I actually haven’t bought new ones yet. Thanks for the advice.

Put the stock size on the front 215/65r15 with the 15x7 wheels and 235/60 on the rear. Being the same rolling diameter will not throw off your speedometer. The 236/60r15 is about 3/4” wider than a 215/65r15.
