Will late model stock 18" wheels fit a 3rd gen?

Hi-i'm new to this forum, and new to Camaro 3rd gen cars. i am picking up a car Tuesday for a project, and i can tell from the pictures the rims and tires are toast. there is an add for rims where i live; the seller says "late model" camaro, 18" wheels. I don't have more info than that. i've looked at some posts, but there's LOT of browsing to cover them all, so i am asking if someone has experiece with this combo--late model 18" stock camaro wheels on a 1996? I'd appreciate any feedback. the guy texted someone is coming tomorrow for them but if i come tonight i can have them, and $100 seems fair for a set of 'take-offs'. here's the link: Camaro wheels | ksl.com

A 96 would be a 4th gen.

OK, thanks. just looking for some experienced input. i am not so good at specifying how to fit wheels--backspacing, needing spacers, etc

i didn't specify exact year, just 3rd gen, so the exact year of the car 1986...

We all know 18" wheels will work. ...and while I'm not sure of the exact offset/backspacing, because new/modern Camaro's have high positive offsets, you can always add adapters to make up the difference. Then there's the bolt pattern. It's REALLY close. 3rd gens are standard, 6th gens are the metric equivalent. REALLY close, but not exact. You want to read some good debates, just read along with people arguing whether or not it's a good idea! However, since you have to get adapters anyway, you can get a spacer to fit on a standard pattern thirdgen, but have the adapter lugs in a modern metric pattern.

All that being said though...I'd probably just hold out for a set of wheels that fit without adapters.
