yes as in the picture the rim is nowhere near, I guess what i was sayin is that the dust cap is protruding to far when I try to put my new rims on it’s hitting the rim center caps.

But I believe the as my uninformed *** would say rotor neck is to long for my new rims is there shorter ones out there?

I know some wheels require tapping the dust cap down a little for clearance.
not sure how much you'll need but if its a small amount, you may be fine

What rims? Do they have the correct center bore?

Without seeing the rims, it's hard to help. My guess, without seeing the rims is that they are for front wheel drive cars. Sometimes people don't realize that there can be a difference with the design.

Re: Bearing caps are in the way of new rims. Help please!!

I will post a picture when I get it into the scenario again, the issue is the bearing caps are sticking out of the center bore to far, then come to find out is also not sitting flush to the rotor so i was looking into spacers, I believe it would solve both issues i like Motorsport tech products has anyone heard of them?

Specifically, what wheels (mfgr, name, part #, size) are you attempting to install on this car?

Re: Bearing caps are in the way of new rims. Help please!!

I had clearance issues with my bearing caps and the dog dish caps on the rally's I run. Got a good tip either from here or somewhere similar that i'll share:

1) Remove bearing cap
2) Place a washer, or quarter, or something of similar size in the cap and put it back on
3) Dent the cap with your favorite hammer
4) Remove cap, take washer/quarter out, and reinstall cap.

you've now "flattened" it out while still giving room inside. If the center cap still won't go on then you need to go a different route. I agree that these hubs are very annoying, I wish there was a different option.

So this is the current issue, but I believe I have resolve.

Thank you all for giving me good advice I appreciate it, I ended up going with spacers for fittment and also preference.
