Post up your 16" tires

I am looking to replace the tires on my 92 B4C before Hot Rod Power Tour and I am trying to find a set that looks good. I really dont drive the car much and I dont race it. So performance really doesnt matter as much as looks in this situation. And as we all know, 16" tires are getting scarce. Some of them look terrible once they are on the rims. Too tall/short, side wall too rounded into the tread ect.

Post up some pictures of your 16" tires on your car and post what brand and size you went with.

Thanks!

I have Falken Ziex 960AS tires right now. These replaced a set of Michelin Pilot Sport AS. I'm happy with them.

For myself, if I was to buy 16" tires right now I would probably look at General G-Max RS. Nice tire.

These aren't great but gives you a sense of what they look like.

Re: Post up your 16" tires

I currently have 3 of the popular tires that come in that size on other wheels. I have the BFG comp TA on my 17 black hawks GTA replicas, The general G-max RS on a set of 17/18 staggered set up for my 69 camaro and I have the Toyo Extensa HP on a set of ZR1 rims. I think all 3 tires look great and I have no complaints about any of them. The general tires are the softest as far is treadwaear rating at a 360 and dont even offer a mileage warranty but they do grip really well if you had a random track day or some spirited fun. Followed by the BFG in the middle at 400 with a standard treadwear rating and the toyos come in last at a 500 rating. . You mentioned the sidewall look like the sidewall to tread look and I think the GFG tires have the best profile look. I think the best option of the 3 I have is the BFG. like someone suggested look at tire racks website good reviews, comparisons and information. It would not hurt to call because I know the sales guys actually do get to test out and try most of the tires they sall and can guide you into the perfect tire choice. These are the only pictures I could find immediately of each one

Thanks!

Man those look great! The side wall shape into the tread of the tire is really nice. Im just weird about tires. Im really picky about the shape/size of the sidewall. And it seems no matter what if the size is exactly the same, different brands just look different on the rim. I think the General G-max is definitely going to be my first choice.
