Who wants a 3.4??

Hey, I'm buying another car and don't need to do the 3.4 swap right now. I could set the motor in the corner and do it later or I could sell it and get some money in my pocket.

Guess which one I'm gonna do?

That's right, this 3.4 could be yours for $400/obo! The 4L60E is available too.

I can ship at reasonable prices or deliver in my truck to south or central FL.

thanks!

Then ya need to change your siggy, LOL.

Can I still get that throttle body cover off ya, or is that going with engine? I understand the ICM prob needs to go with engine.

No, all that stuff is still yours. I don't think anybody's likely to do the SFI swap. If they do, they can get their own coil controller.

Haven't been able to get in the garage much, hoping to tonite.

I posted all over the Camaro and S10 boards, but I'll try Ebay in a day or two.

I'm picking up an 89 RS with a nice body and interior, good-running 2.8 (3.1?) and 5sp pedals (but it now has an automatic). It's got no title. Paying $275! So I've got all the body and interior parts I wanted plus a good motor, cheap!

So I can sell the 3.4 and have more $$ for the project. And the boy didn't need that extra 20 HP anyway. In fact I might disconnect a couple of fuel injectors on the 2.8. That'll suit a 16-yr-old pretty well!

later

let me know when you find a shipping price on them parts.

If you gotta post it on ebay, send the ICM with it, you will get more money that way, then selling it to me.

Just trying to help ya out here.

When I was 16 (1972), I was given a used car, a 1966 Corvette, base engine, 4-speed.
I learned to respect HP & I never raced.
Serious.
My stock answer was "I already own the prize, the Corvette, what do I have to prove".
That car kept me outta so much trouble.
I was more known for high speed driving & doing the mountain curves of Eastern Pa.

Install the 3.4 with a fresh head rebuild & it'll do fine.
A 3.4 powered, T Top w/5 Speed in an early classic chassis?
Sweet ride for your Son's Girlfriend.

On the ladies detail, I worked a little harder than for street superiority.
Better rewards, the trophy girl.

I'd take that off you, but it'd require me getting a bigger turbo... besides, I got a boneyard nearby that'll sell me fully dressed 3.4s all day for $375, if I ever go that route.
