Alston subframe connectors

Do Alston SFC pose a problem for ground clearance? And how much are they?

They'll scrape on some high crowned parking entrances or ridiculously high speed bumps. But I prefer that over not having them on the car. Lon

My Alstons don't hit on anything - of course, my deep oil pan and tranny pan sit about 3 inches lower than the SFC's; about 4" from the ground.

they look like a good product to buy, and the cost is not much either.

My Z is lowered 1" with Hotchkis springs and I hardly ever hit the subframes(Alston),unless I encounter obstacles such as lonsal spoke of.I am very happy with the Alstons.I have installed 5 sets to date.1 set on my 82 Z,1 on my 86 T/A which I sold like an ***,2 on my brother in laws IROCs (1 T- Top and 1 Convertible),and 1 on my friend's 88 T/A.Alston is the only subframe I will use on third gens because of their fit, performance, and quality. That is not to say other brands are no good,I just prefer to stay with Alston from my experiences.I recommend them to anyone that asks.

The bolt on ones are 189 and the weld ins are 89. From what ive heard tho, the bolt ins fit better, then after they are bolted you just go get them welded in.
