Any company makes notchbacks or do we have to find them on ebay or in junkyards?

 

looks like the guy selling that owns a couple mustangs...

 

is it me or does it look really small??

 

I want to see a pic of a car with a notchback on it...

 

look in the back of chevy High Performance you can buy them for around 700 bucks...

 

Up at the banner up the top it has the "High quality Trans Am GTA Fibreglass Spoilers" go there it has a sort of notchback hatch but in my opinion it looks better

Yeah those notch backs are designed better. This one on ebay looks to flat.

 

I hate the factory notchbacks like the one on ebay.

The aftermarket one that has the longer sail panels or whatever you call them looks 10x better...

k, man, lucky i read this tonight, morrow i leave for a camping trip, ok. ill fwd your question.

 

The only bad thing about the notch back is that you lose interior space, other than that the hatch is great. It saves weight cause it loses the heavy glass. You do lose rear visibility cause the little peephole in the notchback is ridiculous. I, personally, don't like it.

 

Warning; Newb resurrecting old posts.

Seems like elminating all that glass might slightly reduce interior temps when it, say... sits in a hot parking lot or summin?

And I agree, the one from the banner looks better than stock.

 

Ive been seeing a nice looking Notchback GTA around here, i dont think it looks that bad

 

Nothing wrong with that. Its better than posting a new thread on a quesiton that has been asked 247,000 times and being yelled at to do a search.

I think that the factory notch is SO much better than GT Auto's.

the pic are from the gt auto site.. when i posted them here, they doubled in size.. i kinda do like they way that one looks.. u still kinda keep the side profile of the carand ive never seen anyone around here w/ a notchback

 

Yuck. From the side, it just looks like the origonal glass. IMO, the whole point of the notch back is to redefine the body lines... If GTAuto made a factory repo, Id buy it in a second!

I have an aftermarket knotchback for sale. I cant find any pictures of it, but ill post them as soon as i find them. It was on the parts car that i used to fix mine.

kinda reminds me of the convertible camaros, its different.. i dont think i would ever do it to my car though.

 

reminds me of a fiero kinda. I kinda like them, but not on my car. They just look better in some colors and on certain thirdgens.

 

I want one of those things I think they are cool looking. I have a couple questions though. I was wondering if they weigh about the same as the glass. I would also like to think that they would keep the heat of the interior down a little since they would let less light in.

 

I think they look gay.
