One thing to watch out for is, the 2 spacer blocks that they send with it. They are to go between the frame and crossmember. the TKO sits lower in a third gen than GM transmissions. I would ask Spohn if he has any thoughts on compatability.

The TKO comes with the fore mentioned spacer blocks, shifter, trans yoke, bell. adapter plate. You can order the backup light switch, and speedo gear...which is more money if it is electronic...Also you can adapt a different shift handle on the TKO shifter, as it will probably bump your stock console if you dont.

Mike, at Fortes does a fantastic job in customer service too. thats who I bought mine from.

I bought mine from Forte's as well.
Like brutalform said above, their kit includes a bellhousing to trans adapter, spacers for the crossmember, oil, backup light switch, driveshaft yoke (Ford C-6 Type), adapter U-Joint and speedo adapter, (that costs a little more for electronic speedo).
If you get the Spohn crossmember, you won't need the spacers.
It comes with a shifter stub on the trans, you can bolt almost any stick to it (I re-used the Hurst Comp Plus stick from my T-5).
Best shifter is probably the Pro-5.0 for Tremec.
Not sure of any less expensive Tremec dealers, but Mike Forte was easy to deal with and seems to know what he's talking about.

Ive tried the PRO-5.0, and I thought the better option was using the stick lever only from the 5.0, with the shifter the trans came with. This seemed to be the best alternative for me.

I run a tremec in my car. DONT use the spacer blocks from Fortes.
You r best bet is to get the crossmember from Spohn. Its a direct bolt in with no mods to make it fit.

Yes, you just wont be able to use the base of the pro 50. 2 allen bolts and the lever comes off.

I do believe the TKO is a couple hundred more than the 3550. You get the shifter w/o ****. The yoke is included too. The extras is the crossmember spacer kit, which is like $80.00. And the speedo gear adapter are like $100.00 if you have electronic. Less for cable speedo. The bell adapter is included as well, so is the hardware, fasteners etc.

If I remember correctly, about a week and a half for delivery.
