Woke up one night with a fun idea..."What if I swap my Camaro's front end with a Firebird's?" Is this possible? Anyone try this yet? Should I just shut up and keep walking?

i don't think the rear end would be too bad. i would like to do it though, i like the bird taillights and bumper better than camaro.

Its doable. There is a firebird here in town with a camaro front end, but why bother?

Please don't give your car THAT much of an identity crisis... I'm hesitant to get my fourth gen wing and hood ;-) It still looks like a Firebird though.

If you did the swap, you could call it a "Firemaro" or "Cambird". Yeah...sounds like you got wayyyyy too much time on your hands.

why would you have to cut holes in the quarters??? the camaro and firebird are identical drivetrain wise.

for the same reason that you cant use RS ground EFX on a firebird... not everything bolts on body wise...just look at the hood too

I'd go with "Trans Cam".
