Electro Supercharger

I saw this on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=10368

I've seen a couple different designs... I've heard only negative things.

How can companies like this one stay open if their products don't work?

Anyone had any positive experience?

No, I'm not planning on getting one, just wanted to see if anyone has tried it.

Looks to me like it'd block intake flow.

because the people who do buy them probably notice a little more throttle responsiveness from idle, thus they think its making a lot of power.

A mod needs to place a sticky for called "your thread got locked?" and list in there the link to the most derisive post on this e-bay electro crappolla that we have made so far and start locking these the instant they are made. then we can begin doing the same with, "where can I get a turbo kit for my 'blankety-blank'?" atleast until the electro turbo crapo goes away and until someone makes a turbo kit. some others may have a few similar subjects for "instant lock" that I am simply overlooking? like maybe "turdo vs. blower" or "nitrous isnt a real power adder crap?"

I wasn't trying to start anything with the post, I was genuinly wondering if anyone had actually tried and it had any success.

Seems like a very logical topic to me. I had a question and wanted an answer.

Anyway, no offense to anyone was intended with the starting of this thread. Sorry if it did.

i agree with everyone here

yes it is crap, and if you put it on your car i will then light it on fire....how do these compaines keep going? one word R I C E...10-20-30 years ago, ask someone to put "euro" lights on there chevelle, camaro, mustang, or charger and they would of knocked you the hell out... Now who buys these lights... R I C E. Actualy here is why it wont work
#1 it would take a lot of electicity to even power as much air as a super or tubro charger would
#2 since it doest pump that much air, at a certain point your engine will want more air then is being supplied by that little fan and will actualy lose performance. This "supercharger" or electric turbo should also come with that "bov" noise maker so people think you have a turbo or some type of power adder!! im not directing this twards anyone here... just saying in general.
And about locking this down... yea people come in here and they ask a question... its tech... its about a "power adder".... just answer it ok? then after it gets answerd the mods can lock it.. If in the future mods would like to put a "Hey newbie.. up here" sticky to say that these things are crap, that would also be a good idea. Ok now this guy has his answer, you can lock it.. no need for the flame fest of how chit like this needs to get locked ASAP. please alow some newwer guys to ask the questions.. if they get a chittin response from you then they will do that to the next person and then this site is gunna lose members and more importantly it will lose its coolness. Thank you
Alex
