I was wondering who would be interested in a ASCD SS hood if we got a group purchase going for this. So far me and 1991 Z-28 are planning on buying ours together so we figure if we get more people together we might be able to get a better price on it.

Right now I'm guaging interest on this and i have contacted Hawks Thirdgen and thunder Racing. Thunder Racing currently has a sale going on their hoods for 431.99. I'm waiting for hawks to get back to me on some information reguarding interest in this.

I'm getting one next month once I start my engine swap project
(they used to sell computer equipment too, hence the name)

 

Hawks wants $425 if i get 10 people, Thunder Racing wants 431.99, I just gave computer nerds a call this morning ask about a group deal and they'll get back to me if they can cut a better price than 413.99.

 

ok computer nerds won't move on the price of 412.99, They won't do it even if i get 20 people. Hawks will do $400 and the hoods will be shipped to each indiviual, no central location. Hawks requires 20 people to get it for $400.

I'm in for for Hawks and so is 1991 Z-28, Can we get about 18 more people. If nobody is in a hurry i know we can get 18 people.

 

Holy Kamoly, $400? That's pretty tight. I am very interested but do you know if they fit very well? I've heard they do but I better double check. I'm definately thinking about it, let me kick the idea around a bit and I'll get back to you.

They seem to fit very well from the people that have them. I personally do not have one since i'm buying one, but roy at thirdgenresource, his 91Z vert. has the SS hood and it fits on his car well.

that would be 8000 for hawks. i have a GTA, i would like to get the ram air 2 hood. but i am not in.

 

I hope you guys realize they sell these hoods on ebay for $425 each.....

 

yeah, i'm not sure i see the logic in all the hassle to save a couple bucks.

25% or more is reason for a major group purchase....even 20% but not that little.
