Okay guys My stang club meets all the time, how about we have a meet for board members and whoever else. I dont have an Fbody I know, but meeting ppl is fun and has only been good for me so far! If anyone is interested post up!

I'm sure you've heard this before, but there are plenty of guys in the CTFBA that meet up every once in a while. I haven't gone yet but I plan on getting there sometime before the end of summer.

 

Yeah I know a few guys in the CFBA, but I meant more or less guys from the board. Meet up with guys we talk to and with on the thirdgen board! I am not brand loyale so meeting some Fbody guys wouldn't bother me, cause it doesn't matter what they drive as long as they are nice, I dont really care!

 

where in CT? I would go if it's near RI.

 

Don't know where, just want to see if there is any interest on here. Seems like 3 cars would be a pretty lame turnout.

25thmustang- We're neighbors! I'm in Southington. My car is in real rough shape, but I hope to have it on the road by the end of summer.

 

Yeah I head out to Southington a Bunch. My car has been off the road for a week now, but is back in action with some new gofast parts! Should have some new times this weekend!

I would like to get a little meet down, and if this gets more interest it could happen! Good to see some other CT guys in here!

 

hey im in ct too near hartford, i dont know where kensington is but east haven is like 45 mins away, why dont we meet on the pike somewhere if we can get more people

 

I'm definately up for meeting on the pike, even though I hate that place. My friend wrecked his Talon there, and 2 other friends got tickets for nothing. Plus is a major r1ce fest. But, it'll be fun to meet some other thirdgen's and stangs down there.

 

I'm not one to try to get a ticket... a different meeting place would flow better for me. of course this is just talk... i have an ever going steering problem. ... that still isn't fixed.

 

How about a Pike meet not on a Friday or Saturday night. Some kids in my Stang club meet up there all the time and never get hassled. I dont mind going up there on a weekday after dinner some time!

Oh yeah, Kensington is part of Berlin (same zip code) so I am about 10 minutes from the heart of the pike!

 

I'm a little over an hour away, but I don't mind traveling a bit. I have a few friends who would most likely go. A 2002 WS6 and a built 79 Trans Am. If it all goes down it'll be a fun time.

 

i live in middletown, but work in berlin,,, drive by saturn sometime u'll see a pretty good turnout of cars,,, i used to work at the hartford store, i was the freak with the 8 cylinders,,, down here we all got sweet rides,,, 90 gta, 84 ta, 88 monte ss w/383, a MOstang gt(u have to see the guy who drives it) makes it hurt less when u pull into the driveway in the morning!
brian, i used to live in southington, my father is driving my old 84 ta, white, and he's got a white monte ss also, u've probably seen him at least once, he's always drivin around,,,

hey the pike sounds good, have any of u been to the carshow every other saturday at walmart in wallingford??? that is a killer show,, it is on this weekend, my buddies are gonna be there, a sweet 70 mach 1, and a trick Nova,,,

how do you get to the wallingford walmart? is it easy to get to from the highway? ill go to that one if im not busy or if its not raining like it has every other weekend

 

I would be good for a Walmart cruise if I am not working (I usually am) but another meet would be cool. If you guys are serious lets go for it.

BanditSBC- I saw a white TA near my work-parked at Yarde Metals. I've actually seen qute a few 3rd gens around town, but I think mine may be the crapiest!
Sorry guys, my car isn't weather tight! I barely made it home at noon before the t-storm hit. Got back to work w/ my truck and the power was out. I got to leave early!

 

If there are a few Thirdgens around lets get them together for a meet! I might be the only Mustang but thats fine, no big deal by me!

 

you guys get a meet near the new haven/east haven/branford area... i'd be in for sure. .... other than that.. i doubt it.

 

I think the pike is the easiest most central place to meet. Plus there is stuff to do around there. We could find something fun if there isn't a great turnout.

 

Yeah I agree, I work on the Pike, live 2 minutes away and there is a lot to do on it, but hey anywhere is fine with me. How about down at the beach???

It's good to hear the pike hasn't changed much. I'm from Bristol Ct. but now live in Georgia. It's good to hear you all trying to get together. I remember going to the.. I think it was TWO GUYs at the time. Parking lot where they had some sort of Corvette road race thing set up when I was a kid. I'm old now 38. Anyway Georgia has been a pretty good place to relocate to. A father & son Promod team has bought the house across the street from me and I've been the clutch guy for the past four yrs. Only because it's the dirtiest job. Plus I'm 15min. from Atlanta Motor Speedway. Here's a few pics of the cars. Anybody want a southern 88 Formula. 9,800 miles since rebuild $ 3,800

had i paid attention to this section of the board earlier, i would have been more than happy to meet up with some fellow CT guys. unfortunately, i go back up to college next weekend, so i dont think that will be possible for a while (up in lowell, ma, so not too far away). but who knows. i'm sure i've passed some of you guys driving

 

I was at work on Fri night, but was up last night watching some guys make fun of themselves! It was a good night last night, lots of fast cars, lots of people and the only cop to come into DD came in, illegally parked and then bought coffee and left! He is the cool Berlin cop and was in Newington but it kept the Newington cops away! Never got thrown out!:hail:
