Got my cavalier seats in!!

Put me down with stiers as the second guy to to cavvy seats in a thirdgen. I had my doubts on how they would look until i took a nice sharp seat spring in the *** this morning and decided they had to go. I got mine out of a 4 door cavvy with 15,000 miles on it. These are like brand new but a girl definately drove it i cant get the perfumy smell out of it. The 4 doors i thought was more comfortable they match the carpet but the back seats look more blue than grey now. I love the seats comfortable, real solid feeling. Cruised for about an hour in them and my *** has never felt better. Even my mom likes em and she hates the bird

Before i found old coupons cigarette butts ashes and about a large fry container worth of 10 year old fries

I'm new to the body and interior section so mods if this is too many pics delete this one.

Heres the way i figure it

Admission fee to junkyard---$1.00

2 95 Cavvy seats brand new
scored at a mere---------------$28.64

1 Bottle of seat cleaner-------$3.89

Not getting stabbed in the
*** by sharp seat springs----$Priceless

Did you get those seats from a pick-u-part j/k? Do they match the back seats at all? That's what I'll probably do!

Yep a pull and save junkyard out here 12.99 a piece. I was looking at ones out of a two door cavvy like stiers did but i though these matched mine a little better. The backs match none what so ever now that i have clean grey seats the backs look almost blue i'm thinking of doing 4th gen seats that kinda are atleast the same cloth color

I would be afraid that the 4 door versions would not lean forward...

How'd they come up with that price? Or was that with tax? Strange number indeed.

But the seats look great.

I had a friend that had a 2 door car, he needed a new seat (he broke it while playing car tag) he got a 4 door seat from a junkyard from the same type of car, but he was able to swap the recliner & lean forward stuff from his car to the new seat to make it work right.

the seats are 1996-2004 IIRC, no, you need to mount your original f-body tracks onto the cavalier seat

Make sure you get 2 door seats otherwise they won't fold forward. Also, the 4 door seats don't have the guide for the seat belt in the headrest. There are a couple diffrent style seats. The shape is gennerally the same, but the stitching paterns may be diffrent.
