Hey Newbies! If you dont know how to post a pic click here and find out!

You have to use HTML or VB code to do this. Or just use the browse button. It’s easy I do it all day.

Browse button.

When you typing a post or reply scroll down and click browse. Find the pic of you hard drive and click to open it. It puts the path in browse and when you finished the pic will post. The only down side is that if the pic is to big then it will not post. You can eat up all the web space.

HTML

<IMG SRC=Put your address goes here>

VB

Don’t type the *(star) in this one. I have to do it so your
Browser doesn’t think I'm trying to post a pic. I just want
You to see the code here.

[*IMG]Put your address goes here[*/IMG]

You might ask "where is the address of my pic?" Well this is the tricky part. You will need a Web host for your pics that come from your pc. Pics that you find on the web you can right click them and go to properties and it shows you the address of the pic you clicked on. Just highlight then whole address (make sure you get the .JPG or .GIF part at the end) and copy it. Go back to you post or reply and paste it in the address where it belongs. I have not found a good web host that will hold you pix so that you can store them there and use the copy paste method. But you can always go to www.google.com and search for <u>free web host</u>. Remember that some free web host doesn’t let you do this copy paste deal. In that case you will come back here, do everything right and it doesn’t work. All you might get is a big red X. Now that’s a load of fun right?

Copy and paste:

Copy,
Hold ctrl and press C

Paste,
Hold ctrl and press V

Any Questions just Post them here. Me or someone else will probably answer that for ya.

I'm no newbie...but I've got a question.

Did you just run out of useless trash to post and decide that something that wasn't thirdgen tech related, but web-site literacy related was appropriate?

I bet that got you mad! I was j/k. That was the bored man's way of saying

POST *****!:lala:

This is a good idea for a post though....someone needed to do it.

actually.....this is approximately my 2nd....wait 3rd post whoring Thankyou. Although....I'm at college now and the count will definitely go up as the weather gets colder and I stay inside.

To add to this post's technical content...there are a set of buttons at the top of the screen....B I U SIZE FONT COLOR....each of these brings up a box that you can type in. What many users do not know is that these effects can be combined. Simply take what is inserted into the text of your message, cut it (highlight it and presss ctrl - x) and then put it into another box of your choice that pops up (use ctrl - v) after pressing of the B I U SIZE FONT COLOR buttons. This can lead to a more effective and "festive" way to post. Let me demonstrate.
