I've got one in my drag car never drivin it with it in yet but just getting in and out of it just to work on it is a pain so in my opinion no they are not very practical.

i think get a 4 point cage and keep the rear seats , they look cool especially if you can keep you seats and enough room for people to get in and out of the car . always a plus

ask around in the drag racing board, those guys would know more
sure I guess a cage would be cool
but the first thing a person is going to say is what are your times? 1/4 and what are you going to say?
15.5@88 MPH..........
get the car fast and clean them worry about the cage IF you need one
I would never get one unless the car ran in the low 12s and I raced it at the track every weekend, and it was not a daily driver
just my 2c
biker

Kinda the same purpose I put mine in, just for looks, but man does it ever stiffen up the entire chasis, wow. I used to think the SFC were the ****, they ain't got nothin on a cage. Very impractical for a daily driver, UNLESS you never plan of having people in the back, if so you can make the door bars come even with the front of your drivers/pass. seats and that alone makes getting into/out of much easier. I've yet to get in/ride in a car with a cage that's easily accessible from an entry/exit point of view. Just ain't happenin.

with door panels, thought with the new dash it might make entry easier, but it still looks like it will be a PITA.

I saved this link about a year ago I think.... I plan on oneday putting one of these suckers in, and having a cage in, while still having room for passengers in the back if need be. While I'll never have two adults back there, the kids will fit 'til they get older. No drinks allowed of course
