Code 33 Fixed?!?! Milage/performance better !?!?
Fixed my code 33 today, The wire leading to terminal "E" on the MAF sensor was cut by my alternator pulley. Im not sure of that is one of the S.E.S light triggers that puts it into Sh** mode...
Should I expect better milage, or performance now that it is fixed?
Could that have been the cause of my intermittent non starting problem explained here:

Code put out by the computer signalling high (or low, but I think 33 is high) MAF reading.

Gonna tell me no one here knows if that would have caused starting problems and be fixed now?
Tripping code 33 (MAF high) will put the system in "limp home" mode. In other words the engine is run off of a set of default settings for spark, fuel, etc.. Many TPI folks (with MAF systems)have encountered this at some point.
Like the previous response, can't guarantee this would cause hard starting since the motor is on the defaults when it's cold, ie, running open loop.
I know in my experience the motor runs rougher and the gas mileage suffers.
