Mecham wing available?

I was at a car show this past September and someone was claiming that DKM had began producing the wing used on the early 3rd gen MSE/Macho T/A cars again. Does anyone have any info on this?

here is a pic of my car with one, the spoiler fits the lines of the car very well however the quality if the glass is "sub par" someday mine will have to come off and be reworked. i recieved mine as a gift from my girlfriend.

From what I was told they're using better quality materials. They don't show anything about it on their website but I was told to call for more info.

i also have been told that the material itself is better quality however when the wing came it require heavy modification to fit corectly and the spoiler also has an unbeleveable amout of waves in the glass. in talking to 4th gen guys it seems to be very common for mechams products to be "race" quality. if you are looking for a difrent and agresive look and are not afraid to spend some time and money on finnish work by all means go ahead and get it. just let me warn you, it is no where near "ready to paint"

i would like to think im the only one with the spolier on a 91-92 i am really not sure about them producing them agian. i was also told that this was going to happen however when i talked to Dennis about my my issues with the product he made it sound like he was reconcidering it. if they do produce them however i wouldnt expect them to be cheap. their 4th gen hoods cost somewhere around $1000 and the quality on those suck as well, they are the sexiest thing going however. i guess the way i see it is that even though they may not be as rare anymore, their price should keep them fairly exclusive.

mongoose when i got the ram air 2 hood 3 years ago way back in 02 everyone didnt have one , their were only a few people on here with one , like maybe 8 at the most and i know it wasnt that many. So dont go there with the hood thing , not even close to being right .

ES87iroc -- immature toolbag, sure thanks bud . I cant be pissed and say it . Its the truth , i hope they dont make it . I like having things on my car that not many others have . It will really suck if they do make it .

Not talking about then, just about now. And I mean no offense by it either. Just consider yourself a trend setter. With so many F bodies out there someone else is sure to have a similar idea sometime. I remember seeing a car in GMHTP a few years back that had practically every appearance mod I had done to my car already. I took it as a compliment and perhaps you should do the same?

All this coming from a guy that put a RA2 hood on his car, TT2 style wheels, and cloned another member's license plate. Yeah, that's real original.

It's a compliment when someone emulates your car. Several folks on here have built cars similar to mine. I have seen one car that was a complete clone on the exterior. When I got my hood, I had the only one on TGO. Now, dozens of folks have them. I take it as a sincere compliment.

Saying things like you did makes you sound like a high school kid who is pissed that someone else got the same shoes. BFD.

thanks! i get alot of comments on it but not all of them seem to be complements. boyd is the reason i got it. it ended up looking good w/ the 91-92 groud efects

as you can see the center was painted body color and i hope to niteshade the tails this winter. i think that will look better, and more unique than the grids

Thanks for the extra pic. I'm not a big fan of the ZR1 wheels from SLP but they work with your car and the wing. I called Dennis Mecham and talked with him about the wing and I'm planning to have one shortly after the new year.

Does the wing bolt on using the holes for the standard wing or did you have to drill new ones?
