Is something wrong with the winbin site???

I just went there and downloaded the "complete package" that was supposed to be over 2 megs. It's 137k and contains a game for a palm pilot. The zip says winbin and gozilla (downloading utility) says it has mirrors the same size at different sites. Does anyone have an alternate location to get Winbin? I've tried downloading it MULTIPLE times and had no luck. Thanks.

Actually not very hard, but that is a bit off the topic - These cars are more popular than you think in Scandinavia

Downloaded the program, but I just can't get it to work.
I get the error messages ECU file error and error in ECU file, and then the whole program freezes.
I'm using the BIN and ECU files coming with the program, and yes I'm using the correct files (7165.ecu and 7165.bin)
What am I doing wrong?

I don't know about the ecu file thats included with WInbin, but this one should work:

http://www.area51.org.il/~zaphodb/gmecm/6Ev007.zip
http://www.area51.org.il/~zaphodb/gmecm/ARAP.bin

If you downloaded the one with a .ecu extension and used Explorer it gets corrupted, you should have gotten the .zip file....

Well I think there is something wrong with winbin itself (at least the version I've installed)
I tried yours files (ARAP.bin and 6Ev007.ecu), but the same thing happens. After the error messages the program freezes, and I just get question marks in the line indicating the version of winbin. (WinBin Version ?.??)
What's going on? I downloaded winbin from your site (zip-file).
Is there something you have to be aware of when installing WinBin?

I use Winbin v1.4, and it works great both under Windows 98 and Windows 2000.

Which version did you try to use?

I found this to be caused by the selected type of decimal symbol. It must be a dot, not a comma. Open \My computer\control panel\regional settings\number\decimal symbol\ and select dot.

I also received the error message 'Run time error 8002': Invalid port number, or port type mismatch. Selecting different port addresses solved that problem in my case. \Control panel\ports\settings\advanced\IO port address\. More details https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=110700
