Err... is this a bad thing...? (Video)

http://home.earthlink.net/~fyrelance...ce-Exhaust.WMV

Check out this video of my car running. Scroll to about 1:30, where I start revving the car. Eek. Is that bad?

The car is also getting HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE gas mileage from what I can tell. Hard to tell exactly how bad because I'm not driving it very much right now, but I will tell you that I drove around the block to pick my brother up from his Elementry school and it looked like it used 1/16th to 1/8th tank.

Now note that this car has a gaping hole well before the muffler and no cat-converter, but I still shouldn't think this is normal. The gas fumes are overwhelming as well.

The car has brand new Accel injectors (19#ers I do believe). Could this be caused by a bad sensor or...? Does this mean my car's running rich?

EDIT: I reccomend right clicking on the video and saying "Save As..." and then viewing it from your computer so that it won't be choppy.

Thanks in advance. I'm posting a link to this in the exhaust board as well.

Oh, by the way, I have no Check-Engine light, though there is a code 22 in memory that won't go away... I believe that is TPS sensor... I tried clearing the memory and it's still there. But, no SES light.

To me it appears to have a grey-black-ish color (I have a higher quality version but I posted that one for bandwidth purposes, obviously) which makes me think it's running rich or something...

Looks like grey smoke. If it is grey then you look to be running very rich. What do the plugs look like?
If it is white smoke you may have a coolant leak in one of the head gaskets or worse, a cracked head/cylinder wall.
again, plugs will tell you what is going on.

I'll have to check the plugs when I get home from work. I do know they are new plugs and wires, though.

If it's a blown head gasket, wouldn't the exhaust have a sweet smell to it? It just wreaks of gas fumes.

When I disconnected the air pump in my car a long time ago it made the exhaust reak. If you've got a head gasket leak and you're burning coolant it will smell sweet and with that much smoke your coolant level will be low. It doesn't look like oil or coolant to me, but there could be a bit of either in there being blocked out by the unburned gas. I'll bet your plugs are pretty black. Did you mess with the fuel pressure regulator when you installed the new injectors? Have you tried resetting the tps to get rid of the code?

I pulled one of the plugs I could actually get to, heh....

This is with the engine COLD, I had not run the engine at all today. The pic sucks, but you get the picture.

The gap is not bridged as the pics kinda make it look, but it was covered in a black, shiny coating.

I wasn't the one that installed the injectors, a buddy of mine owned the car for a while and then I got it back from him and that's one of the things he did, so I don't know about fuel pressure regulator... I don't think he messed with it as far as I know...

What do you mean by "resetting" the tps? Do you mean pull it out and push it back in (ie re-seat it) or is there something else? I reset the ECM following GM's instructions in their code scanner book but the code's still there.

By resetting tps I mean setting the TPS at .54v closed throttle and about 4v wide open. I wouldn't bother resetting it right now unless it's off. In that case reset the IAC as well(before you do the tps). Replace the coolant temp sensor in the front of your intake manifold and the oxygen sensor. Those two could cause you to run rich if working incorrectly, and should be replaced anyway. Hopefully you're not burning oil or coolant. The things I said to do are basically just normal maintainance, but if not done could cause drivability problems. I'd also change the plugs since those are pretty fouled. You could clean and regap them though, if they are fairly new. The car will definitely run better at first, but you'll need to pull the plugs after a couple of days to check and see if the problem is still there. You may have weak spark from some old ignition component(s) as well.

I was hoping the plugs would be alright because the black coating was wet, not coated on there or "sludge" so I was hoping it wouldn't hurt too much... they are pretty much brand new plugs...

Is there anything to replacing those sensors or is it just an unplug/replug thing?
