Installing TA grid-style tail lights...

I'm trying to install these TA tail lights on my base Firebird. I have the lights and the wiring harness from an '87 TA. The donor harness looks like it just plugs in, but my harness doesn't. If anyone's installed them, what did you have to do? And yes, I did a search-and it came up empty. If anyone knows how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i cant remember but if you look at it, and only one of them is causing the problem and it is black, you have to cut that one off. and then splice in another. if you can wait till morrow ill try and get a pic for you.

The plug is right inside by the drivers side, rear kick panel.

Its kinda a pain in the *** routing hte harness. I have GTA tail lights on my formula as well.

I put them on my forula, you can either get the sockets form another car or cut the back black peice to fit them in. ITs not too hard.

Tail Lights

I think the TA Lights are much better looking. my baby has ta lights on her.

They were put on from an 83 trans-am. Here are the before and after of them.

Thanks for all the help guys, I got 'em working.

BTW cfirebird86, I agree those look much better than what was on there before. Are you going to switch the center lense with a TA one?

Tail Lights

If I come across some I will. But the tail lights I got off my ex-bf 83 trans-am. And since he's a complete Jerk I can't get them. Althought I do know where the car is.... :sillylol:
