hello to all.
please, i have an intake manifold p/n 14057053, is aluminium and is also marked GM, i'd like to put it on a 350 engine but before i'd like to know if its worth the money.
thanks to all.
Fernando.

It depends on which intake/fuel deilery system that you have on the engine.
If you already have a stock Q-jet and steel manifold, you would save some weight for sure.
I've heard tell that the stock aluminumn intake is a good piece. I like mine.
If you are using an aftermarket Intake/ carb (Edelbrock/Holley) I don't believe you would gain any performance by going to the stock parts. Maybe a fuel milage increase
Just my .02

If it came from a 79 350 "from a Vette", it is a POS. I would throw it away. It's part of the reason those cars were such disgustingly slow pigs. 170 HP 350??? In a Vette????? And that's some kind of "useful" part????? My a$$!
This is a F-body board. Nobody here (well, at least nobody that knows what they're doing) is impressed by parts "from a Vette". That's a sucker line to get ignorant people to pay top dollar for stuff that actually belongs in the trash can. Why is it that everyone seems to think that just because a part "came from a Vette", that automatically makes it golden? It's a piece of cast iron!!!! No magic rubs off from the fiberglass body work and imbues itself into the casting; simply invoking the mystical "V" word does not instantly make a part work better.
I wish I would never be forced see anyone try to romance some garbage part that way again.

I didnt think the germans had any?
I thought they just had the Phantom and Tornados?
but that is just a picture, but the Mig-29 is not what everyone thought it would be really. But its still a great plane.

the red baron used to say "its not the crate, but the man sitting in it" it applys on planes and cars of course.
in reality if you got the juice (money) you can get it equiped to beat anybody, but then again...its not the crate but the man sitting in it.
me, i just love it (its maneouvrability), and yes, the luftwaffe after the german reunification, decided to update the migs and re-train its pilots to western tactics, now its a kick *** combo.
thanks for your words.
