How About Aug. 17th for the next show??

OK guys, how about Aug. 24th for the next show. That's 4 weekends for now. That would give me enough time in case something goes wrong with the cam swap, plus I work every Sat in Aug, cept for the 17th, but I just changed my hours, so I'll get off at 2pm on the 24th. Twistopher would like to make it and he's getting married the 17th, so how about the 24th Guys, come on, I should have my cam/intake swap then..

So, hopefully it won't rain that Sat, and hopefully more can make it out for the show.

Those Coming to the Show. as of now, I need to PM or email a few

I forgot I signed up to work almost every Sat.
I'm going to try and switch to a morning schedule so I can make it to the show.

Mark,
I may be having a MAFBA get together that date, maybe we could work it out and have both groups meet up? I'm sure I could bring out a few 4th gens from the club.....?

Although I think if we do a joint thing we might need some extra parking.

The 24th would be okay for me... this time i'll go whether or not my wife has a car to drive. FYI the 24th and 25th is also the show up in the Lehigh Valley (Check out the NE board) so if we can't meet @ PF maybe a cruise up the PA Turnpike for The Lehigh Valley Show?

Depending on what everyone decides on, we could meet in Elkton on the 24th and head up as a group to the Lehigh Valley. If we decide to meet in PF on the 24th I'll be there and skip headeing up to the Lehigh Valley show.

Cool Dennis, is it blue, I saw one up at MR. Tire on the way home tonite sittin out front.
Yeah, as long as the weather turns out ok, seems like most are up for it. I hope to have at least 20 there this time, maybe more. We need to spread the word beyond this, like handing out flyers to parked 3rd Gens and all.

it looks like the 24th, which is way to far away to think about, anyone have any suggestions for a earlier date at maybe a different place?

Yeah its my fault its going to be on the 24th. I will definitely be there no matter what. I am getting married on the 17th and will be done with the honeymoon before 24th. I missed this past weekend due to a friend dying. That was a fun last minute drive to AL. I will be tied up every weekend until after the 17th. Fun fun...

that's true, however, some things do come up at the last minute !. You just never know, anyway on the 24th since Mark cant get their untill around 2pm, i guess that's about the same time we should arrive, this time we can stay later and see all the other cars if the weather is great.

Yeah, the 24th, I'm going to see if I can get off at 1:30 that way I can be there by 2. Cause they start roping things off around 2 or so.

I'll probably be there again as well. And I promise I'll get the rest of those pics up. I mangled them real bad and ended up with 256 color shots I have the raw images to redo again, so I should have them up in a couple days...

MDv6man: I'll probably be leaving from my 'rents place in Aberdeen, if not I'll be leaving from my house in Dundalk. We could meet up somewhere and head down together if you want. It was a pretty nice ride last time.

Cool

Hopefully I will have all these little odds and ends completed by then, and give the car a good detail and wax before the show. Wait a sec, I think that is still too soon to wax it. It will be clean though.

I will bring my chairs out too, I looked right at them before we left for the show last weekend, but for some unknown reason I did not think "hey, I should bring those". Guess there was too many other things going on to remember at the time...

now that i have my car back i can come up there
if i have that sat and sun off i will try to make it there. I really don't want to drive both ways in one day, about 3-3-1/2 hours. (no big deal but it kills my night)
so i figure i'd hang around in baltimore at the Night Shift again and drive back on sun.

Night Shift... Lovely place. I used to know strippers that worked there. Nice girls. lol not... Not sure what good clubs there are around B'more anymore though.

I know the Nexus Gold in DC is a very nice club. I know one of the dancers there... Top shelf stuff there.

ok this is getting off topic...I'll put back on.
would be nice to park all those 3rd gens in front of the club, with some models and take a picture.
no but really i was up there in jun for a pre wedding party and damm the place was awsome and the girls were cool.
spent alot of money there and I'd say it's the best one i have ever been too. looks wise the place is a dump though.

I tell ya what, I've been to a ****e load of titty bars all up and down the east coast everywhere from Maine to Miami and Night Shift really aint that bad. It was better when they had BYOB, but now that there serving Alchy it makes it REAL expensive.

Althought some of the best tata bars I've been too have been in Tampa. WOW, do they have some fine split tail out that way

i loved it in there, (girl wise it was the best, though there was a place in Jersey that looked straight out of a hollywood movie) The place is a dump though.
I dumped $180 the night i went there. i was going to take out another $100 from the ATM but it ran out of money
i usually don't go to those places. and when i do the most i spend would be $40.

Night Shift may have cleaned up there act some. This was about 5 or 6 years ago.

Back on topic. Someone a while ago mentioned a body shop in crofton called IGS or something like that? Sound famailar to anyone? I really wish I could at least get my gfx, blisters, and a new fender on and painted before the show but I have negative funds due to this wedding junk. Anyone got a spare fender and painting equipment they would like to spare? Hey it would make a cool wedding present!! lol j/k
