Finnaly! Some Pics! 355 Roots Blower My car!

Well after over a YEAR of posting about it and parts of it and all the talk and crap I finnaly got some pics to show everyone. It gets 15 City / 18 highway MPG Puts out 5 PSI of Positive Manifold Pressure and sounds like a broken powersteering pump when I step into it. Not to mention the gear drive making up for the blowers quiet-idle. Ill Post a few pics... Enough to make anyone sick. I still have a headache from all the noise, even though this thing is Muffled to death with a 3" catback. which robs a Whopping 75 Horspower So sayeth the Chassis Dyno after the exhaust was put into place. Ill scan some Dyno Graphs in when I get a scanner... but for now:
2500 RPM: 349 RWTQ
3500 RPM: 410 RWTQ
4200 RPM: PEAK 490 RWTQ
4500 RPM: 478 RWTQ
----
3500 RPM: 320 RWHP
4500 RPM: 387 RWHP
5500 RPM: 440 RWHP
5900 RPM: PEAK 510 RWHP
6500 RPM: 507 RWHP

Oh Yeah forgot to mention the OUTSIDE of this car looks ENTIRELLY STOCK and has FADING PAINT and NASTY DIRTY RIMS and DINKY TIRES and A CRACKED HOOD... here look for yourself!!!! I love it! People see this thing and think its some crappy old Beat-up 305 Camaro... until they hear it run... But for some reason its appearance just doesn't daunt anyone... Its all the more fun the see their expression from the rear view mirror!
... NO its not your imagination the hood's RED does NOT match the car's RED.

yeah its beat to helI

It's body sure is beat to HelI but it sure don't act like it. Im getting it tinted tommarow to protect my lovelly guages. Gawd but it took forever to make that cluster.

Heres the outside... Oh yeah one more thing... I just took the rear end gear cover off and found stamped dead on: RATIO: 2.77
No wonder this thing can cruise 70 MPH at 2400 RPMS....

And in Conclusion...

I would like to say Thankyou to all Thirdgen'ers out there taking the time (and who took the time) to help me and listen and blah blah blah now im getting all mushy but in reality it means alot to me to have people who will give honest opinions and realist help just to be nice... I would make a huge list of peoples names but I would accidentally leave somone out and then I would feel bad... But Im sure you know who you are. 8 months ago I was posting pics of an Empty Engine bay and a ton of high performance Engine parts and a wrecked / gutted interior. But don't get me wrong, this chapter is FAR from closed... I still have few grand to spend before I finish this little/big project I just thought it would be nice to show the world what I've accomplished so far and to thank everyone once more. I also talk/type alot (resident post expert? post master? Taken? what!) so ignore my rambles from time to time. that is, ignore the rambles that occur from time to time not ignore from time to time my rambles insinuating that when I ramble dont ignore it except time to time when I ramble and you-.... *sigh

sorry but cowl =/= stock
your car doesn't look stock, but it still has the sleaper effect.
Nobody would expect a whitetrashmobile to have that engine setup

I admit it looks like the fuel line is awfull close.... But its tied up so it cant move. Ive already had it gut one fuel line...

as for the cowl.. i know its not stock looking... but it keeps the appearance of a trashmobile like you said heh

*** I wish B&M or Weiand would offer one with the vortec head intake! Gotta love the sleeper image. It is always better to go fast than look fast.

Congrats! And those are GREAT power numbers too! A little work tidying up the engine bay and you'll have a reliable setup.

just yesterday it started missing and running like crap, after 4 hours of diagnosis and screwing around I found out it was the Plug wires doing stupid crap. I replaced those taylor 11.4 MM race wires with my original cheap crappy 4 year old 8.8 MM accel wires and it runs like a new car now.

:hail: sleepers

I'm thinking of getting a berlinetta and modding it just for the sleeper effect. But then when I'm done with the engine drivetrain and suspension I would put on 91-92 gfx and spoiler and 4 3/4" cowl for cold air induction on sc420

and just for everyoen to know, any spark plug wire over 8.5 doesn't do a DANG THANG for your engine, peak is 8.5 after that it's just for looks.

didn't say you didn't know that, just letting everyone know.

by the way, sweet setup

any spark plug wire over 8.5 doesn't do a DANG THANG for your engine, peak is 8.5 after that it's just for looks.

thats basically what taylor says, the extra beef on the 11.5MM wires is just for insulation / anti-heat / radio suppression.
if you read their explanation on the box it says its a "8.5MM Taylor wire surrounded by an extra layer of silicon and fiber glass"

so I totally agree with you, and just so everyone knows, I think Taylor 11.5MM Pro-spiro race wires SUCK because they just do.
