Is this Rice?

I am debating now if my car is rice. CustomX has me convinced my ride is total rice now since I am not sponsored by edelbrock and I have one sticker in my engine bay that says Edelbrock. What do u guys think? I am confused, have I gone to the rice side? :lala:

*** its sad...what have I done?

You forgot to mention the point about your ASCD hood being non-functional. Its does not even provide for a cold Air induction system. That in "some circles" is concidered "rice". Putting a hood on that is just for show and provides no functionality at all.

Oh and its only a 305.

Doesn't feel so good being called out now does it. Grow up man! You want me to take it from you, but you can't take it if someone points it out to you on your car. Sheesh.

Personally, I have no problem with your car. Its a car you like. Its the way you want it. Fine. I find it dull for my tastes, but so what, right? Just chill man!

First off, I wouldn't call it rice just for one sticker of a part you don't have, stupid maybe , but not rice.

The hood not bein functional is ok as long as you got it for the looks, which I assume you did.

Oh yeah, I forgot guys, its a 305 TBI auto that runs a 15.1 w/ no cam, heads or intake mods, just basic bolt ons, little trans work and rear end and some suspension mods. :lala: And I think i explained myself pretty well for the hood back in the other post but I will say it again.
Sorry but there are tasteful appearance mods and then theres just ugly. You know that so don't act like a *****. I swapped out my stock 15x7 firebird rims for the black gta 16x8 rims because they look nicer and would perform slightly better. I got the hood because it looks very sharp on my car, its fiberglass and I can set it up for cold air induction.
:lala: But you guys are right, rice all the way. You think they would accept me over at www.beaterz.com or www.anitrice.com. Maybe at an import site since I have a 305 and one sticker and a ascd ram air hood. hey its a start right? I can get a hold of more stickers and take off the factory ground effects and make my own from home depot and I have lots of room to paint things yellow or red. I can break out the red and yellow paint and paint my vents yellow and some other stuff. Maybe a few stripes down my tires. Or I could try out one of those wings. I heard the downforce is rad

From what I saw, he wasn't outright wanting to argue the effectiveness of his hood in the other thread; you just kept provoking him to do so.

I would suggest 3rdgen.org or Camaroz28.com...you'd fit right in there. Wait, scratch that...you'd just be a "trailer trash turd gen owner" on CamaroZ28.com!

Oh and he didn't provoke me and the others? He kept jumping all over my car so we pointed out the double standard to him. Oh yeah, but we were the ones provoking.

Uh, perform better. Maybe cause they are wider, but they are heavier too. Not to mention the tire size difference. How does that effect your performance?

I got the hood because it looks very sharp on my car,
Got it for looks. In your book that = "rice".

its fiberglass
They make stock versions in Fiberglass too. Not winning any points there...

and I can set it up for cold air induction.
*Note: "can" so you haven't even set it up for cold air yet. So sad! = "rice"

You are serious aren't you? Good g o d that is sad....

Your right, those damn 16x8's are useless and heavy anyways, should have stuck with the 15x7's. Geez. What was I thinking?

And once again, as I said before, there are tasteful appearance mods and then there is just rice. Your probably right though, my car has ugly appearance mods. Let me guess, I need more red or yellow?

OMG? they make stock hoods in fiberglass? How much do they cost? LoL Probably around 300.00-400 bucks. Yes, I would rather get a stock hood again just for the fiberglass. That was just one of the advantages of the ASCD hood then over the stock heavy hood.

And I guess you don't pay attention with the comment about the cold air induction part. i will say it again though since all that red from your car is messin up your head. "Gave it cowl induction since it was cheaper but once I have 125.00 to blow I will get that ram air box for open elements. No biggie, like I said, I don't have the cash at this time. School just started and like any fbody owning college student, I am poor.

Ok, but lets keep them coming, I love these comments, I have to know if my car is rice or not.

Its not rice. Whoever said its rice is a dumbass. There's no stickers outside. There's no funky tint and vinyl crap all over the place. There's no fart pipe. there's no double decker wings. There's not 5 pairs of lights on there. There's no TA or GTA badges on it. Who gives a shiet if the hood is functional. Those hoods don't do much good anyway. Ligenfelter use to seal the front of the WS6 hood shut and use a below bumper cold air kit.

or why I didn't just get the stock fiberglass firebird hood. Or how my car is rice, slow and tasteless.

It is true though, u don't know it but a lot of people laugh at the appearance board because of you and others like you. Your the joke of the thirdgen community.

WTF? The ASCD hood ROCKS. And on a stock setup it actually delivers cold air to the intake area through a channel system in the nose. It is a great idea.
His car is anything but rice. It has some great mods to back up that hood. Redraif's car is MUCH closer to rice... much much closer. I don't really care if it wins trophy, so do a lot of the cars that scream rice. What is your best 1/4th mile time, raif? Do you even take your car to the track? Or is it a "show" car?
