Okies, next we need to nail down who can bring what. Here is what I could come up with for what we would need: ( bear in mind that we will have somewhere around 25-30 folks, but a few people can do the same item so it lightens the load)

-Soda (2 liter's would work best)
-water, iced tea, etc.
-ice
-Hot Dogs
-Hamburgers
-chicken pieces
-rolls (hotdog & hamburger)
-chips (***'d varieties)
-fixin's - bbq sauce, ketsup, mustard, onions, lettuce, etc..
-cups, plates, plastic ware, knapkins
-small charcoal grill if anyone else has one, I am bringing mine too
-charcoal
-coolers?
-anything else you can think of?

Does anyone have a volley ball setup? Just an idea perhaps. Anyways, let's hear who can bring what, many hands make for light work. Also, ideas anyone?

ES87iroc - small bbq grill, 3 or 4 bags of chips, charcoal, 24 hot dogs and rolls, 24 or so hamburger rolls
Mark A Shields - plates, plastic ware and napkins
MdFormula350 - 4 coke 2L, 4 sprite 2L
MDV6man - cooler with some gallon jugs of water and Ice
FORDRustangsRUs - 5 bags o' chips, some hamburgers
derfrank - mmm ball park dogs & buns
1991 Z-28 - bunch o' "hot" cups
cobrakiller1989 - 24 or so hamburgers and rolls
DakotaSLT - Cooler, ice, and some 2L's
Girlovfyre - Some of the following - paper towels, plastic forx & spoons, bag o chicken, parts, assorted condiments, soda, dogs & buns
TomP - 2 bags pretzels, 2 24 packs soda, cooler w/ice
pete86iroc - case o' hamburgers

Oh yeah, one other point. You will need $1 each way for the key bridge toll (for a total of $2 per car) and $2 per car to get into the park...

Do you have the address of the park for me?

I will grab an address for something next to the park tonight, mapquest does not recognize bay shore road. Here's the short form on how to get there:

From Southern MD/VA/DC area
(I-95N to I 695 East)
I95 North Exit 43 -- Sparrows Point. Left (at ramp) onto Rte 158 -Bethlehem Blvd towards Edgemere/Fort Howard. Proceed to traffic light at North Point Blvd. Straight through the light onto North Point Rd. onto North Point Rd. (into edgemere) you will pass a wawa on the left, then sparrows point HS on the left, stay LEFT at the fork in the road, strait for about a 1/2 mile, park entrance is on left. (bay shore road)

-this is assuming you are coming from the south- Pretty much you get off I-695 East just over the key bridge, second exit. It is exit 43, it says "beth blvd/ sparrows point". You make a left at the bottom of the ramp, and don't turn at all until you hit the park. There are some bends in the road, and it changes names once, but if you just keep going strait after you get off 695, you will run right into the park. It will be on the left, there will be a sign for it, and bay shore road is the park.

Here's another idea, maybe we can all meet up somewheres, like the mcdonald's on RT 3 or something, and either myself or Steve can lead the way back here?

yeah I know where it is. I pass by it going to college. Then again, I take 695 also to get to college, but the Mc Ds will be very helpful for us southerners. How far are you from it?

Well, considering , I have to drive 200 miles home from college, drive another 80 miles or so to the park. 80 miles back home. Then another 200 miles back to college, as you can see this isn't goin to be exactly easy or cheap for me.

That's only 560 miles.

There are four of us here in Blacksburg, I will introduce the ideas to the others, but my car is out of commission. Looking for a T56 to replace the late T5. Maybe I will see you there.

WTG! That sounds great, like I was saying, the bigger things should be broken up so no one takes a big cash hit. Now we need one other person to match this, and we should be set with the burgers.

Come on folks, there is still stuff that needs to be spoken for! I am thinking we should figure on about 60 attendees, so we are going to need more of most everything! (soda, chips, etc....)

Hey you guys are all Hokies? Me too, rock on.

But on the BBQ, found a ride home so I WILL be there . Since we've only got the one cooler so far I'll bring one full of ice too, and I'll throw some two liter sodas in as well, unless there is something else I should bring instead. See you all next Sat.!

One other thing, you guys said that the McDonalds is right across from Capital Raceway right? Anyone have their address for Mapquest?

ooo i 4got, i'll be good 4 bringing paper towels, plastic forx & spoons, if people don't want to get BBQ finger prints all over their shifters/steering wheels when we're all done out there.

i gotta check my cash flow here, but i've got a bag o chicken parts in my freezer i could bring, and assorted condiments also. soda, dogz & buns should be doable too, once friday roll$ around again.

just outta curiosity = what R gas prices like out there compared w/ crappy wallet-sukkin Mont. Co.? we're at about $1.50/Plus, i think premium's usually $1.60 @ the most
Could this info be added to the list?
