130-30299 tail mount kit Q

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...15&prmenbr=361
ok kit description says to use the 200c driveshaft

now, any knowledgable person knows that a 200 is roughly 3" shorter than a 700r4/9" tail th350

and also that the 200 c driveshaft will also be roughly 3" longer than a 700r4 driveshaft.

apparently this kit is actually designed for use with a short tail 6" tail th350

am i wrong ?

if im not wrong then im just gonna part the car out and save time and trouble and $ too. body tub is total scrap and drivers door is on borderline shape for salt belt and pass door is dented in and all interiror is trashed ripped up bad and not even original seats on top of that,. either that or ill gut the hell oput of car and use it for weekend fun street car.... weld up all holes and floor pan with pieces of door or hood skins..

thanks

important Q this is.. the answer to this Q is what the fate of this car is hinging upon.,
if the kit wont work with a 9" tail th350 then thew car is getting cut.

thanks

If the 700-r4, T5 and TH350 w/9" tailhousing are the same length, your driveshaft will work. Just remove the torque arm mount from your old tranny and put it on the bracket. I have read that you need a new or different mount, but I used the one from my T5 and had no problems with it. The crossmember was
difficult to find. Having a new driveshaft made was cheap and easy
