Strange noise coming from under the hood after supercharger install

While, one strange sound, the whistle is nice and I wish I could hear it all day long, another sound concerns me ....

I have been noticing some type of a chirping/ticking noise from under the hood. When it was colder out (40°) I didn't noticed it much but now that it is always 60° +, it seems to happen more. I have had 2 possible diagnosis: 1. It could be a belt/pulley or 2. It could be a bearing/race in the supercharger. Any ideas? Has anyone gone through this? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Actually, no I didn't check the inside of it. One thing that is interesting is that they said they put WD40 on the belts, and now there is no more sound like that. Hmmm... any thoughts?

I have noticed a phenomenon that I have discussed with a few blower manufacturers. As I have seen and as it was explained to me, the gears that drive the blower rotors occasionally chug, this is true on centrifugals as well. It comes usually at idle from an occasional and random misfire or power impulse that is not even. through the sound of the gears it is greatly amplified and can sound as if something foreign is running through the drive gears or like it is binding. Running rich (or lean), big plug gaps, worn: plug wires, cap, or rotor can aggrivate this problem. Let me know if you think this is what you are talking about. I have also seen a idler bearing failing cause this so go figure...

centrifugal superchargers dont have teflon coated blades like the eatons do.
