Wow. When you mentioned doing that project all that time ago I wasn't sure what you were talking about. Or how it would turn out. I like it. I think that's great. BTW what steering wheel is that? I have never seen it before. I like it. Good work all around.

The switches behind the shifter are billet electric window switches. The mirror switch is reccessed into the centre console underneath the armrests.

Absolutely superb! That is a really, really clean car!
Now I know why you asked me if I had a mirror switch "plate". Should have guessed you were removing the switch!

PM,

I've looked at the picture of billet switches, they are really nice. Where did you source them from?

Its all aluminium.I made the trim rings to fit snugly into the recesses. No need even to stick them in ,they are just a tight fit.

Fabulous work! Are they hard to make? I'm thinking you could make a killing on those if you decided to sell them. I know I'd be interested.

Nice work, very clean looking! I'm surprised no one mentioned the shifter ****, anywhere specific you got that? Looks good and compliments everything well. It fit the megashifter without any problems? Wheels look sharp too. Nice car, keep up the good work. Any under the hood shots? later

I love the trim around the gauges. I've been planning on doing that in the IROC for a while, but somebody beat me to it.

Care to share how you made them? Did you turn them on a lathe, or have them spun?

I always thought the firebird dash looked better in the the thirdgen then the camaro, and well you have just added to my opinion.

I love what you have done to your dash.
Good job.

Wow, thats stunning! Not only does it fit in with the interior, but the quality of the job is amazing. It doesn't look out of place, or aftermarket. Very nice job. The seats fit in very well with the interior. Is that the updated interior of the 90+ or are they aftermarket?

But I gotta damn ya. Now you've gone and made me jeleous of you and I want to do that to my interior!

A beautiful interior for an even more beautiful thirdgen. I would be very interested in having some bezels like that for my guages, but since you said it took a Bloody long time, I think I could do without it.

The finish and quality is very excellent. If I had tried that myslelf it would look like . . . . .

Hmmmm, maybe a company can develop some bezels, that would be really cool. They would have at least one buyer.

PM,

Eveything you have done to your T/A is so tasteful! I love it! Especially the trim rings around the gauges.

Leave it to the Europeans to take our ******* machines and make them look pretty slick with their ideas.

yeah...it looks real sharp in there powermite
I like the bezels the most - it would be neat if a company made them

the steering wheel was a nice choice - flows with the interior perfectly

Hey Guys,
Thanks so much for the compliments.
Just to answer a few questions;

The steering wheel and gear **** are both Momo items.
The seats are from Cobra UK but you can get them in the US.
None of the original plastic is used on the radio surround and centre console plate. Its all made from 6 mm thick aluminium and then a 3 mm recess is machined underneath so it sits down level with the top of the console.
Those parts took a few weeks to get right but the trim rings only took a day or so.
The console itself is a standard 85 Transam one.
