Engine Color

Well I wasn't exactly sure where to post this. This is my engine that I'm working on.

I'm not exactly sure what else I can do to dress it up. Already have headers and a chrome alternator. I'll have more pics posted when I finish hooking everything up

Believe it or not it's Chevy Corporate Blue. It came out a lot better than I expected.

Yeah that look like the corperate blue they painted all the 82 305's with. Looks sweet but ya gotta wash the fingerprints off

I think your motor would look awesome with a pair of Edelbrock Elite valve cover's like what I got.

Here's couple pics -

Skatepunk: Yeah I know. Going to do a little touch-up work once I get everything bolted on. The fingerprints were the first things I wanted off.

Thanx for the compliments.

Fast83 I love your valve covers. How much did they cost you?? The valve covers I have right now are painted black to match everything else.

Hopefully I'll have some more pics soon

I like that Chevy blue... my 350 is painted like that. Just be prepared for the "un-enlightened" people to ask you why you have a Mustang engine in your Camaro, lol... I got that 3 times already at school!!

lol. I still have to build one for my g/f. She wants a 305 (just to get used to) but she wants it done the opposite of mine. That'll be fun. I converted her over to the f-bods

Going by the cap it should be darker. But when we painted it and did something else to it the paint ended up that color. it came out pretty good though.
