nitrous bottle mounting location

I just purchased my first nitrous kit, so this question may seem a bit naive. In the instructions, it says that the bottle should be mounted front to rear b/c of the internal siphon. Just looking at the bottle, i can tell it won't fit in that shoe box we call a trunk, especially with my ten inch sub back there. I was just wondering where and how everyone mounted their spray. Pics would be great if its not too much trouble. thanks

Donnie

I mounted mine in the spare tire compartment. Cobrakiller: Is that bottle sitting level or pointing down in the front? For the siphon tube to work the bottle must be at an angle. Maybe it's just the way the picture looks.

I thought about mounting mine there, but i have a T top car and always leave the top off. Plus, ( and no offense to you guys b/c your rides are much quicker than mine) I'd feel a little too fast and the furioius Paul Walker as I patted my bottle everytime I beat someone. But thanks a lot for your pics, I just may end up doing it the way you guys did

for those of us racing in the cooler climates it gives a way to help maintain bottle pressure by keeping it "warmer" too.

I think it is rad when people put it on the drive shaft hump. That is where mine would go for sure, should I ever buy nitrous.
