Where's good to buy a burner?

I need to get a chip burner and some blank chips I suppose. Anybody please make suggestions for the best place to buy and what kind of chips work best please!
And do I need a chip eraser too?
Thanks guys

p.s. I just got my LM-1 wideband yesterday

It looks great but I just can't use it yet.

Go to,
http://www.xtronics.com
and get a Pocket Programmer for burning the chips.

For the memcal adapter, and EEPROMS so the you don't need an eraser, and assuming you have a 86 or newer TPI, go to
http://moates.net/gmecm/hworder.html

The PP2 for the programmer and from Craig just the "GP1". It comes with the adapter, ZIF socket and two chips.

It is what I got about 10 monts ago and have been working great since.

the rom is a tuning aid. allows you to make adjustments and see results without burning a chip. you need to burn a final result or have a back up chip handy in case the system fails on the road...

Thank you. I sounds like I should just get the programmer & chips for now. I'm calling to order now. Thank you!

I don't know yet. I was thinking of getting a free one if I can. How much does that tunercat cost?
Is tunerpro a different thing?

edit: I have tunerpro now and I really like it. Great software!
thanks!

I've been using GM ECM EDIT/TunerPro and Tunercat. Tell ya the truth. The new verson of Magnus' software is umm about the same as Tunercat's So If I were you.. Just use Tunerpro. That is one bad *** program

BTW Tunecat costs 70 for the program and then 20 bucks each definition file.
