Here is a picture of my Macewens with LED's behind them...they don't look to bad..but would be nice if the led's were spread out a bit more...to give it a more even look.

the overlays (made by Macewen) were like $90 bucks...then the LED's were like $20 bucks. I've had them installed for like 9 months now...just really havent taken any pictures of them. Here is a picture of the speedo

if you want green, put blue leds instead of white, blue + yellow = green.

I'm using red personally.

that would be the air/fuel ratio gauge...it's really cool. It tells if your car is running rich, lean, or stoich. It's an easy hook up and it's pretty useful. Thanks guys, I can get come better pictures today.

I take it you shaved the paint off of the needles? I like the color combo.

BTW: I think the only way you will even out the lighting is to get reverse indiglo overlays. I tried multiple LED setups with different angles and they just would not light evenly with only four holes for bulbs. So I had to get the reverse indiglos.

What brand LEDS are you using?
The needles seem extremely bright, or is it the pic?
Are your needles yellow or orange?
Sorry about all the questions but I've tried many combos and yours looks very different from the results I've gotten.

My needles were never orange...they did have a yellow tint to them I guess. Here is the LED's I'm using

Here is the info:

WLED-W4 White LED bulb
12VDC White 4-LED Wedge Base Bulb (194/168 type)
Polarized

And the needles are by far the brightest thing in the dash...I was amazed how bright they were when I installed the LEDs

And to add to the confusion...what "leds" are you using in the autometer guage with the blue tint? The same ones you listed in a couple posts up? I bought these "194 leds" off of ebay and they seem to work pretty well, but they are not really too bright at night. You don't happen to have a pictures of the whole dash lit do you, it looks pretty good from the pics you have posted.

All of the LEDS I bought are exactly the same...and wherever I can use a 194 bulb...I have replaced with the LEDs. So yes, the Autometer Gauge in my pillar is also lit with one of the LEDs. I can try to get a picture of my whole dash at night....

If you want them to turn on with you parking lights you can use the switched power wire from your HVAC control light bulb (194). I wired a seperate switch so I can put em on when I want.

both style overlays look really great, though Macewen has a greater selection...

i have no clue where to hook up the power wire for the reverse indiglo guages. The HVAC control light bulb wire....where is that wire? What color is it? sorry for sounding dumb but there are so many dang wires under the dash that are confusing me. if someone could help me out in detail on this that would be great.

I toyed with the idea of reverse indiglo's in my TA. However that pontiac orange color just REALLY grew on me. I don't think I want to change it now. Plus.. it kinda matches my car.

The black and grey wires that run to the air con/ heater control's 194 light bulb socket. The socket twists into the back of the unit on the right side. The unit probably has to be unscrewed to get at the socket's wires. You can tap into the these in order to have the reverse glow guages turn on with the head lights. I would use the grey (hot) wire to turn on a relay. I guess you don't have to, but I'm a little relay happy. It will work if you just hook it up to the guages. Make your own ground wire to bare metal on the body somewhere instead of using the socket's ground wire.
