I was thinkin about the silvers as well. But i have one question. When the speed and tach needle move, is there a coresponding light behind it that follows the needle? Kind of like a digital tach?

youd have to change the light for the needle...as far as i know...the needle remains the original color.....i am going to keep the silver as it will stick out from others...ill get some pics up in a couple days when i install them....ohh and can someone tell me what to wire them to...becuz it says not to connect to a dimmer switch cuz it can burn the gauges out....and our headlight and dimmer switchs are 2 in one....any info would be great

I have the same ones. I love em. Bright enough to light up my face at night. But I keep em turned down cause the wash out the needles. In the pic they are all they way down.
I used red Polarg bulbs 194 bulbs to light the needles.
You can use the HVAC bulbs PWR wire. Always make your own ground wire.
BTW I would use a THIN layer rubber cement or hot glue becasue they have started to lift up a bit near the needles holes and it has caused the needles to hang up.

doesn't look bad at all, I always seem to get indiglo and reverse indiglo mixed up in my head.

Gotta look into something like that for my 87 soon...
