it actually looks pretty good with the black and the silver, see im revers i dont like 3rd gens with out something, i guess to each his own. i like it the best because i put a electric cutout on it so i can adjust it from straight through or i can send all the exhaust through the muffler, thats the best thing about the borla catback

you know whats funny on my other iroc i had i had had it lowered then i tried to get some bullits dumped right where you dumped your and when i went to put it back on the trailer the trailer ripped them right off, i had the worse experience, i figured the borla catback was the most less restrictive exhaust i could get without haveing dual dumps since it is straight through. my bullits on my other car when i sold it looked like pancakes

hi, i am probably going to buy the borla next week, and heard great things about it. but i have also heard lately that you use the 4th gen set-up. whats the deal with that? how much harder was it to adapt, and what are the benefits? thanks albert III

wasnt too hard to adapt, the benefits are lower price and the square tips( if you like those). adapting took my muffler guy about 10 minutes so that he could make the tips line up perfectly

Well since you ask, I don't like tips on a 3rd Gen. either, they would look good if the bumper was cut out for them like a 4th Gen, but they just look wrong hanging under the bumper like that.

i dont care for tips either, and i hate to see sooo much money dumped into an exhaust system that only flows well b/c it bypasses the overpriced muffler! mufflex all the way........and painted "stealth" black........

why does the wife get the 4th gen? LOL
it looks good IMO. tips arent too bad looking on thirdgens. it would be best to tuck them up as close to the bumber as possible or cut out a spot of them. i would love to to that to mine. but square tips match the car best and i kinda like that.
