New Leather Wheel

I just purchased this wheel. It's a refurbished Z28 leather steering wheel. There's a guy on EBAY that sells them for $150. Very resonable really. It's sweet!!!!

He says he will "rebuild" my wheel for $175 "as long as he has a pattern for it".
I think that means if I send him mine he will be able to do it.
That's the 90-92 style wheel. I will send him another to clarify.

I dont think he just sells them. I think he will re-wrap your current wheel, or trade you for yours and some cash.

Wow, that looks amazing! I couldn't pay that much for a steering wheel though.

I have the same Iroc wheel as the first pic, but with a Berlinetta cap on it. Needs to be recovered... PM me if you want it!

Good News and Bad News

I emailed Chuck again and he says he looked into it further and it would be too time consuming for him to redo any 90-92 style wheels at this time as they have leather on the back of them as well that he would have to deal with. He says they are busy, but he is going to keep my info and get ahold of me if they get slow any time soon. I volunteered to send my wheel in as a template for him to make patterns for.
If he gets slow and he gets ahold of me, I will start a thread then and check back here and PM everyone that wanted the newer style wheel, that he is willing to redo them.....
