15" Knight Rider wheels + caps

Caps are missing the center emblems, and have minor scratches.
Pictures of all 4 wheels and caps are:
https://webdisk.ucalgary.ca/~jmknopp...c_html/wheels/

I ONLY want to trade, i'd prefer 15" Z-28 or Formula wheels, but my mind is open to other wheels.

I'm in Canada, so shipping is going to be brutal. I need my wheels on my car so I can drive it, so I need someone to ship me 4 wheels first, then i'll mount my tires on them (15"), then I can send my wheels and caps to that person.

Apparently these are desirable, and i'm getting a few offers. I'm not sure how to decide fairly. Best offer to come through I suppose.

Thanks -J

I have a pair of Z28 rims and I plan on getting formula rims in the near future. Only thing is that your asking alot for someone to ship the rims to you, have you mount tires on them, THEN you ship yours. Reverse the situation, would YOu do that?

Willing and able here...

I'm just insane enough to take a road trip either all the way up there or meet like halfway and do the swap on the road if necessary

I first had a deal with another member, who hasn't posted yet. I already ditched on him when he hadn't contacted me in a bit to continue our trade. Then 1982TA offered a very similar trade, and I DITCHED THE FIRST PERSON TO TRADE WITH HIM. So I already feel bad for offering the trade with you 1982TA.
Then knightrider3702 made me another offer since, the best one so far. Now I realize I have already promised TWO people the wheels, and 1982TA you are in the process of removing your wheels for me.

I can't go by who has come first, as it would be none of you who have posted so far in this thread, so I'm sorry, but it wouldn't be fair to use "first come first served" as my selling basis. And 1982TA, I was further along with my trade with LG4knight, he was hammering his wheels off of his car last I talked to him...

In order to be the "most" fair, I think my only way to do this, is to act as if this were an auction, and highest bidder gets the wheels. Otherwise LG4Knight would get the wheels.

Does this sound right and fair to all? I'm sorry 1982TA, but you did bump someone else as well...

Shipping is going to be brutal, and I understand Greyhound, the cheapest route, doesn't ship cross border. Any other alternatives?
I am in Calgary AB, if anyone is planning on going towards here, that'd be fine. It would save cash to meet at the border, 5hrs south of here or so, but I think that's further north then anyone else.

Please send all correspondance in this thread, with PM's and emails i'm all over the place trying to read it all...

But like I said, the best offer in my eyes can have the wheels. My only need is that I need other wheels first, that have tires, or I can put my tires onto, so I can continue driving my car to work. Aside from that, who pays shipping etc, will be up to the best offer, again.

Thank you. -Jay

ok, first I don't understand your post. I offered to trade you but you're saying you ditched the first person to trade with me...I don't know what you're saying. As far as I know from contacting you, you said someone was interested before me and you haven't heard from him in a while so I made the next offer as far as I knew. Now you have another person making you an offer after me that is better. How is it better? If it's better why didn't you email me and say something? In fact you didn't tell me anything untill I found a post in the Classified section saying you wanted to trade AFTER you already told me you were going to send me the hubcaps and then I send you the wheels. As far as I knew you were not in any hurry except to get them before school ends so you can get the tires mounted for free, which I told you would be no problem and you should get them before that. After all the email back and forth, the pics you send, finding out shipping, getting the boxes, and finding some jacks to get the car up I find out now that there were other people involved. Why didn't you just say something the first email I send. I have been trying to get these off as fast as possible to get them to you.

Again, if you were further along with another member then why when I asked it you were interested in a trade you said you would be and we started making shipping arragements I wouldn't have gone through all the trouble to get them off if you would have just told me.

As far as bidding goes...sorry I'm out. I have enough money for shipping and that is it. I'm not spending anything on top of that. The only reason I jumped on this is because I thought I'd be getting a deal and we would both make out. If you want money, do like eveyone else and put them on Ebay...you'd probably get at least $1000 if you want. Unfortunatley I don't have that kind of money for rims. I thought you just wanted to trade them anyway. Is this better deal you speak of include some money in it?

I don't mean to sound like an *** but I'm pretty dissapointed mostly because of the fact that there was stuff going on that I didn't know about and that basically I didn't have a chance at the wheels anyway. And the fact that you posted about it on this board in the classifieds AFTER we made arrangements...basically you went behind my back. All you had to do was tell me what was going on from the get go and I wouldn't have cared. You didn't even email me or PM me so I knew something was up. Sorry it had to end up this way.

Alright, lets keep this clean and controlled alright? I'm not trying to screw anyone over here, just a little misunderstanding, i'd prefer to deal in this thread, rather then getting PM's and emails... My inbox is swamped...

I don't really care about wheels, shiny or not, doesn't bother me, i'm just restoring my car for speed... The only reason I started this thread was because I understand people want my wheels more than I do (for me they just keep my car rolling, that's why I haven't upgraded to some Torque Thrust II's already...). Since someone else wants mine, I figured it'd be logical to trade me for what wheels they have. Winter wheels look worse than these do, so I figured some stock mag wheels would be fine. That's why I don't want $ or anything.

Now, I was dealing with LG4Knight, but our deal was about 1 month ago, and he hasn't contacted me in the last few weeks, so I figured he found a sweeter offer, or something like that. I started to deal with 1982TA, but now i'm getting more and more offers...

The fairest way I can think of to do this (fairest to all, not first come first served), was that each person posts an offer, and I choose the one that I like best (such as the wheel I most prefer), or something like that, then decide who i'll be dealing with, and done deal. I'd rather not have all offers in a public forum however, because then someone may make nicer offers to counter, unfairly knocking someone else out, since they don't have other "perks" to offer....

Now, here's the deal, the most fair I can think of so far, (any suggestions are welcome in this public forum).
Email me (it's listed in my profile), your offer, be completely un-ambiguous, ie. list all conditions and charges incurred and who will pay for them, attach a picture of your wheels if you can.

ie, one offer I have is they will send me 4 15" wheels (only), when I receive them, i'll swap my tires to them, box up mine, and I WILL pay the shipping to send my wheels to them. I will also pay the border fee's i'm charged. Now keep in mind, I don't really care for wheels/tires, they're accessories to me, so i'm spending $200+ to "upgrade" something I really don't care much about, this is more of a favor to Knightrider fans, i'm certainly not doing this for myself ok?

Now, email me an offer. One email please, so think about it carefully, I'd prefer not to have to sift through 40 emails.... (boy i'm getting tired of this...)
On wednesday i'll cut off, and decide, then post who i'm dealing with. I'll work through that deal, if it falls through i'll go to someone else. I'm not a crook or an unfair person, so please keep comments like Thomas' away, if you aren't planning on dealing fairly, don't post.

Thank you -J
