i think they all have their own good attributes. i couldnte tell you which... i think it was like powerdyne that recently came out w/ a ball bearing turbo that lasts twice as long as regular ones.. but i could be wrong. call the diff. companies, see what they claim, and look around for 'real world' applications

Stay away from Paxton. I had bad luck with it. They also don't produce as much power as ATI or Vortec.

Do some research and find out what you like best. I would shy away from paxton though. i have only heard of a handful of people who have had any luck with them and one of them is switching to a procharger (Willie).
i like both brands...but the reason i went procharger instead of vortech was because they offered twice as much boost and an intercooler. Also, never heard of a stock TPI car put into the 12s with a vortech. Prochargers PUT TPI'S IN THE 12S WITHOUT A PROBLEM

Procharger!

But yesterday I talked to a guy who had a vortech on his vette, previoshe had a ATI. According to him the vortech gave more boost under a longer rpm and the ati was more like a turbo kick......

vettes are a completely different car with better heads and better suspension. also...any centrifigal's boost runs on rpms. my ati is 12psi at 5500. i see 10psi at 5000 so i would have seen 12psi at 5500. also, if i reved it higher i would have seen more boost. the reason ati feels like a turbo because it has a higher step up ratio and hits sooner, that is why ati's on LT1's with even a little bad tune blow up so easy.

I did a lot of research on this topic...i'm doing a buildup next winter...a blown 355...i was impressed by ATI's numbers and performance....plus they have a great warranty.....i think i'm going with the P-1SC blower @12#'s with a 3 core intercooler....with a nice intake and a blower cam that could put me in the high 11's
