Will a non offset base clear an HEI dist?, and do we need a drop base to clear the hood?

Don't look at the offset ones. We have small cap HEIs, we don't have the ones with the coil on top. We don't need no stinkin' drop bases. Does your berlinetta have a carb? carb might be different, but I doubt it.

I bought a chrome summit flat-base setup. it was a paper filter and 14x3. unfortunately, i couldnt get the bolt to work, but thats cause it was straight. the stock one didnt either, so i had to get a 14x2.5 filter so i could maintain the stock height. besides that, i love it. starts to really pull in air around 2000-2200 rpm. nice, cheap mod.
