Boost ? anyone with FI
What kind of boost numbers out there?
Stock engine/Modified
Vortech/ATI
It doesn't matter what you got just post some psi levels,if possible include your idea of off idle/intial boost and max boost at your given rpm levels. Dyno numbers welcomed.

What have you done to lower your compression to 8.7:1??
TRW forged flat top pistons with valve reliefs,
0.051" compressed thickness GM composite head gaskets,
58cc Corvette aluminum heads but....
Most of this has all changed in the last month.
I'm now running 0.041" gaskets and
56cc AFR heads for a 9.22:1 C.R.

Wille how much installation time/effort did the blower cost you?

Installation Time:
Well, I took my time. The instructions suck. About three days. But if I had to do it all over having done it before, it would take about 1/2 day. The kit generally comes with an FMU and a secondary in-line fuel pump. I did not purchase the FMU (so no installation time here). I use Carroll's Superfueler instead. Also, I already had an in-line Vortech fuel pump so no installation time here either.
Cost:
The D1SC with three core intercooler costs anywhere from $3300 to $3800, depending on where you get it from and how many "options" you elect (like a polished blower, etc.).
38* is alot
Yes, it is. But keep in mind that you make more power (on any engine) with as advanced a timing you can run as long as you don't detonate (general rule of thumb). I can run mine at 38 degrees with zero knock retard throughout the rpm range at WOT, so why mess with a good thing?

I use a 30/70 mix of distilled water to denatured alcohol at 100-psig through a 0.015" nozzle. The water/alcohol is injected just in front of the throttle body. It is turned on by a Hobbs switch which presently is set at 3-psig boost.

Wille you been tinkering for a while on your ride. Because you know your stuff.
I 've got 2 friends that use the alky kit,and set it around 14 psi with the ability to run 22/23 psi of boost on 93 octane.
I need new motor mounts because of the false knock I get.
Alright last question to wille how much do you have invested in the engine/go fast parts?
