needing underhood harness for camaro

My friend is converting is TBI car to a old school carb. I need the harness that plugs in the drivers side firewall next to the headlight harness. however i need 87 or older harness (because of different wiper motor plug and alternator plug.) I believe either a carb or tpi will work. we are using no computer or emmisions.
----------
the harness should have starter wires, alternator, distributor, wiper motor, and couple others on it.

I have a 87 camaro z28 that came with a carb from the factory. I am planning on using a tpi system that i have bought. let me know what you need and what its worth to you i can take photos and email them to you so you can see what you are getting the car is under my carport right now and still runs and drives. thanks

Why can't you use your existing harness? Its got everything you need on it.

the factory harness has to much that hooks up with the computer. i had a harness from a older car and it didnt have as much crap hooked into it. im not sure if it will work right if i cut all the stuff off i dont need.

It should work fine. If your not using the Computor, than all related wiring need not be hooked up. I would try your exhisting harness, unplug the ECM and hook up all necessary wiring to run motor, the rest you can tape off. I've seen it done before, and is certainly worth a try before you buy another harness and have to un-install one for the other, but its your time and your money. Good luck with the project.

II've been watching this post for awhile and figured since you didn't find one yet - I'd offer one.

This thing is from an 86 Trams am TPI. It's the engine harness only and doesn't include the headlight harness. It's as basic a harness as you can get...... the notable qualities include a missing Ground wire eye hook and a wire that has been spliced ( to add length ? )

Starter, Alternator, Air Conditioning, Wiper, Distributor, Heater wires are intact. The ECM harness connector is there as well. The "spliced" wire appears to be for the Temp Sensor and there is no Oil Pressure wire.

Interested ??

If so; Send me a PM with an offer & your ZIP code and I'll get shipping quotes for Ya'.
