VORTEC head setup with GMPP hot cam and install parts $500.00.SOLD!!
I have for sale a set of VORTEC heads packaged together with a GMPP HOT cam and alot of parts to install heads.
Included are :
Pair of 10239906 casting Vortec heads machined to accept LT4 springs and clearanced for lift of hot cam. Machined for screw in rocker studs. Pushrod slots clearanced for 1.6 rockers. With factory valves.
General Motors Performance Parts HOT CAM .525/.525 lift
GM LT4 valve springs, caps, and retainers (same springs that come on ZZ4 engine)
GM screw in rocker studs set
GM head gaskets (pair) 10105117 compressed thickness of .035
GM head bolt kit with preapplied sealer.
GM roller cam timing chain kit
Front cover gasket kit for L98
GM thick style dual bolt pattern intake manifold gaskets
GM Factory vortec gaskets
$500.00 takes it all.
I dont know how much it would be to ship but I would be willing to ship these if someones intrested. I dont want to part any of this out just yet, if you have any questions feel free to PM me or email me at tjsh@verizon.net

How did they go about fixing the stud boss? How far did it crack down when removing the studs? Is it flush? thanks!

This set includes stock valves. The set is a complete set, I was going to upgrade to race valves, but ran out of money, that is the only reason they are not assembled.
STOCK VALVES ARE INCLUDED WITH THESE HEADS.
TO ALL WHO LOOK AT THIS AD : Go back to the close up picture of the head and look above the casting number. One of the rocker stud bosses broke when the machine shop pulled out the rocker stud. They added metal to make a flat surface to cut where the screw in rocker stud screws down to. The depth of the bottom screw portion, of the screw in stud, goes below the crack and repair. I will try to get a closer shot to show what I am describing.

If you end up splitting up the kit I may be interested in everything (if you'll ship to Canada through United States Postal) with the exception of the cam and timing chain since I do not have a roller block.
