btw to the above poster those rocker arms won't work for a centerbolt motor they are not self aligning, the elgin 1.6 are though as stated.

I`m running non self aligning 1.6 full RR on my centerbolt heads.Although mine are set up with guide plates,screw in studs,hardened pushrods etc.IIRC thats the only reason to run self aligning on our engines.I dont think it has anything to do with the centerbolt heads other than thats the way they come.A lil bit of money at the machine shop and you can set your heads up for guide plates.I just prefer them that way,seems like a little insurance.They are not,however,a direct bolt in.

 

so the 1.6 rockers fit the stock 083 L98 heads? ive heard yes and no......i cant anyone to say if they fit or not

Are they for 3/8 or 7/16 studs? Will these work for aftermarket heads like dart with bigger valve springs? Do you have a link or product number or pics? Roller tip or just plane stamped steel. Im interested PM me more info

 

the rockers are for 3/8 stud not sure what diam spring they will clear. stamped self aligning

 

still have the 24 lb injectors? if so how many miles on them and how old?

 

no idea on miles are how old i never used them but i have pics they were clean and in the box maybe iffy

It came in the mail today. Unfortunately it did not come with the Actron instruction booklet nor with the GM card booklet. I also can't get it to recognize my Camaro. By any chance did you forget to include and/or test this unit lately? .....Just another of life's little adventures! Nitro

 

man im sorry i bet i can find the booklet ill mail it to ya unit worked fine before shipping check to make sure the pins in the cord are not bent if not happy ill buy it back

 

did not find booklet but pm me if you wanna keep it the "card " does not come with the booklet . Ill walk you through it it is pretty self xplanatory as the tool guides you but if not satisfied ill take care of it just do not label me as a subpar seller if you do not make some effort yourself as it is a used product and i am not able to hold your hand "on lifes little adventures" but i will buy my functioning product back. pm me thanks

 

Hey Mikey- Don't worry; I'm not going to ream you in feedback! Stuff happens sometimes and I appreciate your looking for the two info booklets.

I did do some research here on our 3rd Gen board and it's actually common for these hot rods to have issues with ALDL hookups, especially around the 1988 models. I did figure out how to get it to do it's internal Actron Self-Diagnostics and it sayz all is fine.

Since you couldn't initially find the instruction booklet, I'd like to be able to have a quick phone talk so I know more of what I'll be able to use the Scan Tool for. But I'll first have to figure out how to get my car to: "talk to the hand"!
I'll private message you with anymore questions so we don't clutter up your for sale thread.
